The 4th International conference & exhibition "Mobile & Wireless Technologies 2008" was held in World Trade Center, Moscow, Russia.
Organiser - exhibition company INCONEX Ltd, member of Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Official support: Committee for industrial development of Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Interfractional Deputy Union "Science and high technologies".
Leading companies in the area of mobile and wireless technologies presented their products at the exhibition: radio communication and data transmission systems, radio electronics, navigation, automation, dispatching, telemetry equipment, security and automatic identification.
In the welcome statement to the participants of the forum Zhores I.Alferov, Nobel laureate, vice-president of RAS and the chairman of Interfracional deputy union "Science and high technologies" stressed the following: "The development of information technologies in the modern world is vital for economic progress of the country and security of state and society. I believe, carrying out specialised forums is the efficient way of establishing and strengthening partnership and long-term international relations".
About 100 exhibitors from 7 countries presented innovative elaborations at the exhibition. Up-to-date Russian scientific elaborations were presented by companies from different regions of Russia: Lebedev Institute of precision mechanics and computer engineering RAS (Moscow), Moscow Microwaves (Moscow), KB Mars (Novosibirsk), Institte of Networking Technologies (St.-Petersburg) and many others. Among the foreign exhibitors there are leading manufacturers form Ausrtia (TCM Kommunikation), Finland (Klinkmann), Serbia (Geneko), Belarus (Alnar), Latvia (Computer Hardware Design), France (Onfone), Czech Republic (Novacom Wireless) etc.
Among the high tech products - the following application of mobile and wireless technologies:
Data transmission networks and systems: Apparatura system svyazi, New Systems Telecom, Moscow Microwaves, Institute of precision mechanics and computer engineering RAS etc.
Laptops: Computer Hardware Design.
Automation systems, remote control, M2M solutions were demonstrated by Klinkmann, Institute of Networking Technologies, High-Technology Systems etc.
Automated systems of power consumption commercial account: SKB Amrita, Eltech.
Automatic identification systems RFID - application in logistics, traffic administration, access control, warehousing, payment and banking systems was presented by Vital Electronics.
Navigation systems, on-line monitoring of mobile and stationary objects: Geneko, Novacom Wireless, Gelix Wireless Systems, Logic Cell, REC, Euromobile, Macro Group, Digital Angel.
Professional radio communication, security systems - Kompas-R, Eltech, YUM etc.
Control and measuring equipment - Analytic Telecom Systems, TCM Kommunikation etc.
The radio modem RDM400-2-OEM of frequency range 433 MHz was presented at the stand of KB Mars, the modem is developed as a module for surface mounting. Made for the application in the domestic counter, the radio modem is remarkable for small size and low price which makes it possible to use it in compact and low-budget gears. The novelty produced the high interest of complex equipment manufacturers.
The project BESPROVODKA.ru presented the line of equipment and finished GLONASS / GPS solutions by NPO "PROGRESS".
"Moscow Microwaves" company presented transponders for improving the quality of mobile communication by any operator. Transponders by PicoCell trademark have been being produced for 15 years and sold in Russia and CIS countries. The company is planning to enter new markets. Tying products such as antennas, power dividers, cables and cutoff points were also demonstrated. The company's products stimulated the interest of tenement house builders, mobile operators, telecommunication equipment fitters. Negotiations concerning contract development of special purpose articles were conducted at the exhibition.
ALNAR UP company presented products by Jauch Quartz: surface acoustic wave filters by Jauch Quartz; the smallest thermo compensated quartz generators JT32 with the frequency stability of 1 ppm; the new line of transponders the type JXG32-JXG75 with high level of mechanic durability. The application office for articles by Jauch Quartz was functioning at the stand. All the persons interested could get technical consultations about optimal application of quartz transponders, generators and filters.
The business program contained presentations of such companies as TCM Kommunikation, Euromobile incorporated with Cinterion and Novacom Wireless, Vital Electronics, EFO, Analytic Telecom Systems, BESPROVODKA.ru incorporated with NPO PROGRESS, Digital Angel etc.
A.A.Bolshakov (Lebedev Institute of precision mechanics and computer engineering RAS) made a report "Wireless sensor networks for monitoring systems".
Among the business events the joint conference of BESPROVODKA.ru with the report of S.A.Mosienko, the president of NPO PROGRESS. The subject of the report: "Elaboration and production of GLONASS satellite communication gears by PROSRESS Scientific and production union for national security assurance, improving the efficiency of Russian transport complex management"
In the framework of the competition program the organisers handed out the memory diplomas to the companies: "Euromobile" - for the active participation in the exhibition, "EFO" - for the active participation in the business program. The ceremony of handing the diplomas was held at the evening reception on the occasion of opening the exhibition.

"This is our first exhibition at "Mobile & Wireless Technologies", where we presented SPARK GPRS terminals, vehicles' satellite monitoring devices FOX and FOX Lite, RFID device FALCON for automatic identification and registration of vehicles and our series of GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA routers. The attendance was very good, and the greatest interest attracted the series of routers GWR. We have had a lot of serious business contacts and we believe that it will be of great help in implementation of distribution network in Russia".
